According to the Daily Mail, a committee of senior MPs will meet today to discuss, and most likely approve, the purchase of iPads to every single member of the House at the cost of £250,000. Oh, and add to that data subscription fees.
It appears that some MPs were given iPads last year to see whether these devices could improve efficiency and save on paper. This apparently went well.
Of course, if approved, the decision will not go down well with the public, but when you take into consideration that every single member gets, at the moment, three desktop computers and two laptops, I think the iPads can actually save a lot of cash.
Just thought I would write a quick how-to for activating Gatekeeper on Lion 10.7.3. That’s right! Even though Apple talks about Gatekeeper as a Mountain Lion feature to protect users from running unwanted applications or processes, it is already available on Lion.

Hey everybody, just wanted to remind you that we recently started to run a survey on our audience. If you listen to the Talking Apple Podcast, then please help us by filling this quick survey. It will helps us get a better idea of who we are talking to when recording the shows, hence, being able to improving the content.
Btw, when I say “quick”, I mean it. There’s no clicking through a bunch of pages! It’s all in one page. You don’t have to write anything, just choose from checkboxes or radio buttons. It takes on average about 62 seconds. That is all we’re asking of you!
And of course, information will be kept in aggregate, we will never be able to identify a specific listener from the information you give.
Thanks very much guys!
