) and then there is the previous model (iPad 2) and next year when one goes into the apple store and say he wishes to buy an iPad, the Apple Store sale person will of course not sell the guy the older version. Instead what I could imagine is like following… someone comes into Apple Store:
I want to say something about you both mentioning the issue with the new name of the iPad.
Well, even if I can understand, why you might be confused about the fact that the iPad 3rd Generation is not called iPad 3 or iPad HD or whatever, for me I do not feel confused at all. For me it is very simple .. there is only one iPad (the one and only so to speak
“I like to buy an iPad”
“Sure, we have the current model and the previous model in stock, which one do you like?”
“Well, whats the difference?”
“The price and these features…….”
Then the customer decides for which one he will go with and that’s it
So from my side I don’t see any confusion at all. Just call it iPad like people call iMac the iMac and not iMac 13 or such ^^
